Airplanes are one of the coolest and best things the human race ever developed. Everyone has been fascinated by flight and airplanes show the power of a man’s will. In celebration of that, you can visit Seattle’s Museum of Flight. It is more than just a home to a whole lot of different planes but is also a great educational and historical exhibit.
It is home to an extensive collection of aircraft including Airforce one, the first Jet. There is also a Concorde and military units like the B-17F Flying Fortress. Those are for the outside display though. Inside their display shows plenty of planes suspended up in the air. PLus there are also displays for the Lear and space galleries showcasing the history and future of space travel.
Chihuly Garden and Glass
This is one of Seattle’s greatest Treasure. This is a collection made by the renowned glassblower Dale Chihuly. He is known for for his innovation and skill in using glass purely for art. When you visit the garden, you will see how his sculptures are not just eye-catching but also compelling.
The place has eight galleries, and one of them is the Glasshouse. It is fascinating, as the installations there change colors and appearance based on sunlight. There is also a video presentation on Chihuly’s life and his craft, as well as daily tours.
The Seattle Space Needle
The Seattle Centre with its Space Needle and the Monorail were made for the 1962 world’s fair. They have stood the test of time however and are now part of Seattle’s iconic skyline, as well as an essential tourist attraction. When you visit, you can appreciate the view more from the observation deck. Also, the Seattle Central Library is an attraction in itself with its futuristic feel.
